Hello. Welcome in. Welcome in. We are going to get started. I have this really weird filter on. We're going to get started in a few minutes. Tap the screen, share the live. We're going to be discussing more of a personalized detoxification plan. And if you've been following along, we're in week nine of intro to holistic medicine two. We're talking about detoxification as well as elimination. Hi, welcome in. Welcome in. Hi Daphne. I'm gonna tuck you back down. Good morning. Oh, good morning. Good to see you. Good morning. Good morning. Good to see you, too. I'm just accepting your invite.

Was that announcement? Yeah. Yeah. No, I wanted to invite you. For some reason, when I invite, it will send you to the to the panel. Okay, good. I'm here. I was waiting for you. Yeah. Wonderful. Did you have Did you um get my email? No. No. I'll check that right now while we're on the line. I'll let you please do. Yeah, I responded. All right. I'll tuck you back down.

All right. Hello. Good to see everyone. Tap the screen. Share out the live for me. All the good things. We're going to get started in a few minutes. So, we're talking about detoxification and building cases. Um, and we take a very personalized approach because everyone is so unique and we want to make sure that our data is intact. So, um, Oh, thank you so much. I appreciate you. Um, and so we're going to go through it. um from that framework that we've been talking about. Next week we'll jump more into the objective aspect, but really focused a lot on just creating a system for you to understand the process and understand how we build detoxification um programs from a personalized perspective. All right. So again, everyone is so unique, everyone is so different. So we don't want to take this very linear approach when we are detoxifying. Um and there is a therapeutic order meaning there's a an order to which we go through when we are detoxifying.

Um so we've been talking about different aspects. Let me let me me switch out my Okay, there we go. My slides. There we go. Let me make sure. I'm going to jump to to this one. Okay. So, we've we've been talking about using our subjective data, which are all the questionnaires, as well as our objective data. So, for this particular class, um again, we're going to build on that to create our hypothesis. We're going to map out the organs using again terrain theory. Remember, we're not conventional medical doctors and we're not alipathic providers.

So what's an alipathic provider? That's a provider that is trained to diagnose and manage a disease. So um osteopaths, dos fall under that category. Um also to nurse practitioners fall under that category. Uh physicians assistants. So understanding scope of practice and understanding that we're supporting the body's ability to heal itself. That's the whole premise behind holistic medicine. It's it's being in balance and being in nature. So, we're going to apply therapeutic order. So, this is our evidence-based practice. And in this case, we're going to build uh the body. We're going to think from that perspective because if there's nutrient deficiencies or stagnation and toxicity, we we need to build the body first before we detox it.

Then, we want to prepare the body. Remember, we've got those drainage pathways, primary and secondary eliminatory organs. And then we're going to actually detoxify the system, which we'll talk more about that. And then we're going to rebuild. So think in terms of that therapeutic order. Build, prepare, detox, and rebuild. And we want to match our interventions naturally with our individual patient patterns. And so we'll be spending the next few weeks kind of really understanding that um process and then in turn we'll be drafting a personalized uh protocol from that. Okay. All right. Here we go. So remember health is built. So health is not the absence hey solo an absence of symptom or disease. Um it's a state that is built over time. Um and so we don't want to force the system. This is where our listening uh and our presence really matters.

Um and so we want to assess our toxic load from our subjective which are our symptoms, our lifestyle, our emotions, those sorts of things along with our objective analysis, our pH, uh our transit times, our acid levels, etc. The data that we've been taking for the last few weeks. Again, this is week nine of our introistic medicine 2. So, it is a self-paced course. Uh if you want to Thank you for the roses. The roses actually keep us on the um FYP. Um so, thank you. Um and so we want to make sure that we're following this therapeutic order um when we're working. And so we've been building up to that um as we come along. So if you're just coming in at week nine, welcome in.

It is a self-paced course. It's already pre-done. Uh you can go to the link in the bio and check it out from there. So um it's a part of a set which we'll talk more about. And so we have to find our foundational health first. So before we detoxify, we have to make sure that our foundational health pieces um are stabilized. So what is that? our hydration. So, making sure we're drinking a minimum of half of our body weight in ounces in water. Um, our sleep, making sure that we're sleeping that seven to somewhat even 9 hours for some. Uh, and so that sleep is restorative. Remember, sleep is broken down into three parts. Falling asleep well, staying asleep all through the night, not waking up, and then waking up refreshed. So, sleep is a three-part process. And then we look at your adrenals. So when we're looking at your adrenals, which are your stress glands, sit above your kidneys and your low back, when we're looking at our adrenal glands, that's where our mental and our emotional state, our veagal nerve, our nervous system, all of that comes into alignment, which that in kind can throw off blood sugar, right? Not only from stress, not having structure of time, you know, in survival mode, etc., but also to eating habits not being great.

Either the quality of the food that you're having to consume or just in in kind not eating uh in and really sending the blood sugar through all kinds of ups and downs. And then lastly, proper elimination. Remember, if if we're trying to detoxify the body and we're not eliminating properly, what's going to happen? We're well, we're we're just going to recirculate toxicity. So being mindful that our foundational health pieces are addressed first. Um and then we identify from that framework of stagnation, toxicity and deficiency.

Um when we're talking about stagnation, we're talking about sluggishness within the body. That can be energy, that can be bowels, that can be um any sort of aspects. That's why we use that framework of using at the Bristol stool chart combined with that urinary dehydration chart. So we were looking at that to actually assess stagnation and then toxicity. So we know if there's a lot of skin reactions, thank you for the heart me. There's a lot of skin reactions or um you know uh brittleleness. Brittleleness is more deficiency. But um with toxicity, oh bad breath, halattosis, um those sorts of things, uh like eczema and all of that falls into all of that um alignment.

Um and then like I was saying deficiencies in terms of your um brittle nails, losing hair, etc. Um that would all fall when within that. So we also want to use that to determine where a person is in their healing phase because again we don't want to detox a person if they're in stagnation, right? We don't want to detox the person if they're in deficiency, right? because if we do those things, it's going to cause more harm. And so we want to make sure that we're not causing harm, that we're actually supporting the body's ability to heal itself. And so that's, you know, part of our thing here. All right, let's look at our case flow. So there's a lot of detail to this. And again, this is why a conventional health care model doesn't doesn't allow for this type of care because it requires attention.

It requires focus. It requires you know complex thinking and in a reductionist model. So let me talk about reductionist because a lot of times people will conflate reductionist with holistic and what do I mean by that? Meaning when we take you know a person a human being right who has individual um physical characteristics, individual mental, emotional um spiritual, psychosocial uh as well as ancestral aspects. um and you reduce it down into a diagnosis which is just nothing more than a sophisticated labeling system that alipathy uses in order to diagnose and manage disease. Right? And so reducing a person down to this thing or that thing without following proper therapeutic order without actually looking at from an individual perspective. Um and this is very important especially now as the reliability of data from higher uh um entities is less reliable. So let's look at this case uh flow summary. So subjective remember we're looking at subjective data what the person is telling us our forms that they're filling out because we're looking for pattern recognition. Um any kind of symptom journaling would fall under this as well.

Then we look at our hypothesis. So we're defining where perhaps um these symptoms or rather our systems, right? Because we're in terrain theory, right? And so we're looking at it from a functional perspective. Even though the body expresses symptoms, it's it's not necessarily the causitive. It's a clue. It's not the causitive. Um and so that's where our clinical reasoning comes in.

And that's why we'll spend the the last couple weeks of this class really going into where that clinical reasoning comes from. So then we look at our objective analysis which confirms and contra and tracks our hypothesis. So then we're assessing it and that's how we're able to make sure that we're first do no harm prevention etc. It's a check and balance for us. So we use our pH um tracking our bowel transit time and in this class our acid test. um it wasn't optional, but we'll kind of talk about the importance of it. And then we build, which is rebuilt, replenishing the terrain that has been um weakened. Uh and we use things like hydration, protein, sleep, etc. Um and then we prepare the body, which is where we're loosening um the toxins within the system.

Hello queen. Um and things like sauna, castor oil, herbs really help with that. And then that's when we're detoxing. So there's a lot of steps up into our detoxification process. Thank you for the heart me. So we're in a detox which is going to mobilize and eliminate depending on what we're trying to mobilize and eliminate because there's so many different things that we can mobilize and eliminate within the body whether that is um mold or chemicals, heavy metals, there's so many things. So we're going to look at nutrients binders as well as herbs. Um, and then lastly, we're going to rebuild the body because when we're detoxing, it's not just taking um away those things that I just mentioned, but it also takes away minerals and different uh nutrients from the body. So, we're going to regenerate things like minerals and blood builders are part of that um conversation.

Today, we're going to get into um sample cases. Uh let me switch out my slide. [Music] No, no, no. That's not the right one. Perfect. All right. So, as an example, uh, female 42, brain fog, constipation, mood swings, and bloating. That's what we've determined based off of pulling our case information. So, just so we're kind of on the same page with this framework, our subjective clues, our sluggish bowels, our fatigue, PMS, dry skin.

Our hypothesis is liver and colon stagnation because obviously if the bowels aren't moving, there's a reason for that. Um, and we know that the liver and the bowels have a very symbiotic relationship to one another. We know that the liver, again, because we're looking at the digestive system from the top down, it needs nutrients. And so there's nutrients that are lacking. And because that liver is backed up, we can hypothesize that also our bile is as well. So there's um probably a macronutrient deficiency, meaning our fat to protein ratio is is not in balance. Perhaps the types of fats, etc. And remember, the hormones need fats, healthy fats. So if there's a lot of bile backup or the bile sludge, etc., it's really going to slow everything down.

Our objective clues, urinary pH 5.8, so acidic. Uh we want the uh urinary pH uh to be much higher. Uh 6.8 to 7.2. So that's going to show us that our body is detox. Remember the kidneys help support the liver as a primary filter. And then our transit time is really low, 40 hours, so very slow transit time and a low protein intake. So not getting enough amino acids. Perhaps the stomach acid um is impaired, which is perhaps why the person doesn't necessarily want to eat protein or when they eat protein and then because of the mood um stabilization issues, you know, and really at this point we're depleted. And so we want to really focus on building this person up first, preparing them before we detoxify. So we can see how that um can help emphasize. And so our matching tools are going to be by our phases. So when we're looking at our phases, all right, uh building, right? When we're thinking about building things like water, protein, sleep, hygiene, we also think about B complexes.

B complexes are builders. They help us to digest um our proteins as well as our carbohydrates. Um so very important uh and also helps with the liver phase one. Uh magnesium, our minerals, soils are so depleted. Electrolytes, electrolytes, electrolytes. I cannot stress that enough. Um and then as we're preparing the body, that's where gentle things like castor oil packs, dry brushing, um Epsom salt, baking soda baths, those kinds of things come in. infrared dry saunas. Um, herbbally we use bitter herbs because again that's going to help with stomach acid, help with digestion, help with movement of our bowels. And speaking of movement, we want to move our bodies to be able to get all of that lymph flow. So again, things are moving downward. Um, also sauna, which we talked about. Um, detoxifi detoxification. So when we're looking at the liver, and we'll break this down even further. We're looking at things like NAC uh which is acetylcysteine helps with the liver milk thistle glutathione vitamin C you know those are all the things amino acids really helpful for um the liver just to function even though they're builders um they do have um an assistance in detoxification in colon there's a lot of different herbs that can be used um bo uh licorice root marshmallow root etc just depending on what you're doing um caprillic acid, that sort of thing, as well as binders.

And then for the kidneys, think things like parsley, nettle, those are all things for the kidneys, electrolytes, magnesium, really important. And then rebuilding. Um we look at rebuilding all of that up. So again, minerals. So minerals, minerals, minerals, electrolytes, electrolytes, electrolytes. Um chlorophyll, uh probiotics also to prebiotics. Um, and then things like iron. I like a lower dose iron. Uh, there's also a lot of blood builders that we can get into. Chlorella, spirulina, which also have a little bit of a detoxification capacity. B complexes, all of the, uh, nutrients to help methylation. So, B12, B6, folate, uh, MAG, all of that. So, we're going to break it down organ by Oregon at this point. Let's see. All right. So starting off with the liver again as we build protein B complexes prepare. Thank you so much for the likes uh infinite.

I saw you come in Somali. Uh we want to thank protein B vitamins aminos preparing with castor oil digestive bidters detoxing with NAC milk thistle. We just talked about that. And rebuilding choline, right? Choline uh is a nutrient to really help with the liver. um phospholine with all those EFAs um can also really help too um and chlorophyll. Then when we're looking at the colon which is our next step is we build different types of fibers soluble insoluble magnesium as well prebiotic probiotic um specific ones though preparing. So we look at enemas digestive um we'll expand that even further.

Um detoxification we look at herbal laxatives binders but we really want to be careful with those. So things like Senna, uh, psyllium husk, we do want to be mindful when we use these things. Um, binders, our activated charcoal. Thank you for the heart me activated charcoals, um, as well. Bentonite. Um, and then rebuilding. We want to rebuild on that lining. Glutamine, um, aloe, uh, prebiotic, um, glycine also can be really helpful, too. uh when we're looking at our kidneys building again electrolytes thank you so much electrolytes water as we're preparing the body nettle corn silk uh can be helpful thank you for the likes of my green uh detoxification lemon water juper juniper berries also can really help uh with that as well I also do a lot of juicing uh when I'm detoxifying the kidneys and do more with fasting as well um to really help uh with the kidney balance there and really work with pH balances uh rebuilding things like ashwagandha also things things that tone uh the kidneys as well horsetail when we're looking at the blood and the lymph uh in building hydration hydration hydration uh electrolytes also but ironrich foods as well so think your green leafy vegetables Think of um your spinaches, kales, collards, things of that regard as we're preparing dry brushing, lymphatic drainage, manual lymphatic drainage, nickel point pressures, and lots of movement, things like rebounding, breath work also really help um as well.

And when we're detoxifying blood and lymph, we look at things like red clover, sauna um as well can really help with that stagnation and movement. Um and think a lot of bloodbuilders. Um so again your chlorella, your spirulina, those sorts of things um are blue green algaee's even um have a lot of minerals but also have a lot of detoxification. CBD also um has a mild detoxification component to it as well, especially when used in a topical perspective.

When we're rebuilding, think adaptogens, think replenishing. Hey, avengee, uh, vitamin C, etc. So, really think about flushing the system with lots of minerals and lots of good things. Um, and when we're looking at blood and lymph, we do an opening the channels protocol. And again, liver, colon, kidneys, blood and lymph. So, by that time, you know, we've done we've we've worked through the liver, we've worked through the colon, and we've worked through the kidneys, and now we're in the blood and the lymph. So, it's it's cyclic now. And again, really, you don't you can't like detox those organs back to back.

I tend to recommend we do um like a spring and a fall because of the transition in um food. So, in the summer, you know, you're going to be eating a little bit lighter. Um hello, welcome in. Hold one second. Welcome in. How are you? I'm doing good. Nice. I'm doing well. Welcome to the live. I'm going to tuck you back down. Thanks for um accepting my invite. No problem.

Let's see. All right. Cool. And so, um, yeah, as we're looking at, we want to make sure our liver, our colon, our kidneys are all working, you know, and we've done that. So, spring, fall, lighter in the summertime. Typically, uh transition in the fall from the the lighter to the heavier. Remember, in fall, you're going to go more for your root vegetables, um more for your heavier soups and stews because it's cold and things like that. Um and so, spring is a good time from that transition as well as fall as the seasons are changing. So, you know, ideally you get on a preventative protocol to start detoxifying your body um and maybe do the prepare to do the liver in the fall, colon in the spring, um kidney in the following fall, blood and lymph, etc. So, it's not a fast process. You know, one thing to keep in mind and remember that uh detoxification is prevention.

Um and and while it can be used as treatment, uh it's really made for more um preventing things, you know, especially as environmental regulations um are being deregulated um and environmental toxins are being emitted into the atmosphere um at an alarming rate. Um and so we want to um just keep that in mind as this is part of our health care. Um, we also can't necessarily depend upon a health care system that wasn't built in integrity to begin with and that's broken, collapsing, disorganized, preaching to the choir. All right, so here we are as we start to take full responsibility for our health and well-being. Thank you guys so much for attending as you're beginning to really learn how you can heal yourself, become your own healer, doctor, whomever.

All right, so here we go. Pro protocol building. So I'm going to provide a template for you guys to do this if you're in the course. Um again, um if you want to sign up, there's a link in the bio. It's self-guided, so all of these are recorded. I record them live. um and then uh they're available. So, three phases that we're looking at. Remember, we're going to slow everything down.

So, thank you for the heart me. So, if your adrenal glands, if your mental health stressed, if your emotional health stress, if you're in survival mode, um you're really just going to stay in in phase one, which is building and preparing because you don't want to if you don't have um enough energy and enough resources and enough mental, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual wherewithal at the time for whatever reason.

Uh we don't want to put more stress and strain on the body. Um healing is dis we don't want healing to come from a fear perspective right unfortunately people neglect avoid deny and they don't uh take a proactive view of their health they assume that someone is going to come and save them whether it is some sort of government or health care worker doctor whomever right no one's going to do this work for you this is the work that is done individually um guiding through. Now again, doctor in Latin means teacher and you can find a teacher and support. However, a lot of this I'm breaking down for you in the methodology to which I've not only learned but practiced for a long long time. Um and so I think one of the the the most challenging things for people I have learned over the many many years and many people is following directions and keeping it simple because our minds want to go to a million places and that is a sign again that adrenal system we're in that fight orflight mode.

Um, so we may think, "Oh, I'm ready to detox and now I'm going to go do this and do that." When in reality, um, our bodies need time to recuperate. Our lives need time to restructure, what have you. So once we've developed that foundation, then we go into phase two, which is where we begin detox. So we begin to prepare the body's ability to detoxify itself. we're monitoring ourselves to ensure that we're staying balanced and everything is good.

Um, and then we're going into a detox uh phase and then phase three is where we're rebuilding and sustaining the benefits that we've attained because remember we've done all this prep work and we've done all this process work. We don't want to go out and, you know, destroy it. And so, um, th this slowing down process and being mindful and being present is so important. Um, I always tell an anecdotal story. You know, I used to have a family practice health center and for 15 years and people would come in, I call them like the weekend warriors, right? And they would come in and Monday morning they'd come in for like a foot detox. It's a very gentle bioenergetic cleanse. And um, anyway, they'd be like, "Yeah, I'm going to go on a juice fast." And I'm like, "Okay." you know, because they were required to do like a 15minute just assessment to make sure that there was nothing contraindicated, which means that they wouldn't be able to do the service.

So, you know, I'm like, "Okay, well, what are you eating?" You know, and they're like, "Oh, you know, burgers and fries and this, but I'm going to clean it up with a juice detox." And I'm like, "No." You know, because it shocks the body. Um, and so, and and also too, you're not really sustaining any habits. So then you do a juice detox for a day, two days, whatever. You feel great, but you really haven't addressed the root causes as to why you're going to eat those foods. You know, once in a while, okay, but as a as a primary diet, uh not not healthy.

And so we all know that we want 80% of our um diet to be healthy um balanced proteins, uh fibrous, uh vegetables, carbohydrates, um and then healthy fats. All right, so now we're going to get into our casebased protocol examples. Um and so this kind of puts it all on the court. I love these little drawings. They're so cute. They're little like watermark things. I just wanted to show that to you. Okay. So, speaking of which, uh, we're getting into that mental and emotional readiness, right? So, the presentation meaning that the person is going to present uh with avoidance. They're not going to want to look at it. A denial, pivoting, etc. Inconsistency. So, um, they do really well and then they break down. They do really well and they break down. Um, and so that inconsistency shows us there's some mental and emotional readiness cues. Um, and then emotional overwhelm. Oh my god, this is one more thing, right? Um that shows signs that the nervous system isn't toned for trauma. Um whatever reason, right? Um and so but trauma usually is is a is a um a factor.

Um and so that emotional overwhelm, we really have to tone that nervous system because again, um the body is not ready and balanced. So in this phase, we're building emotional safety, right? We're we're teaching not that emotional safety from the external but from the internal. So we're teaching emotional um intelligence tools. We're teaching self-awareness. We're teaching breath work. We're teaching um journaling, uh meditation, vagal nerve exercises, etc. Um and so in our building hydration helps because a lot of times um there is a symbiotic relationship to water hydration avoidance. So um I always like to um preface patients to say when they drink fluids they drink water. I love how I feel. Um grounding foods. So foods um that help to feel more grounded and stable. So think of you know your soups, your stews, etc. Um and then journaling. Unfortunately, a person um who has unprocessed trauma will tend to go for a lot of fats, right? Or a lot of quick foods. Um and so because again, if if you don't if you don't want to look, you don't want to see, you're going to avoid.

And so, um we look at that, um because it's really about building self-love and self-worth from within. Um there's, uh some imbalances there. And then we prepare the system. So, nervine um herbs that come in um you know maybe we're going to use some adaptogens as well minerals minerals minerals electrolytes um breath work um conscious communication clinical hypnotherapy if it's an ancestral trauma I use a lot of family constellation work as well um so a lot of different modalities um clinical hypnotherapy neural neural linguistic programming um EMDR bof feedback neuro feedback neuros um anything in that wheelhouse really really good um work there when we're detoxing um our boflower remedies um have a really good framework um to be able to help with that and then there's also a lot of homeopaths um that are um geared towards the emotions and in fact in classical homeopathy when you're taking a case you take it from the psychological of the patient, not the actual physical symptoms.

So, it's the um psychologicals, the general symptoms, uh the peculiar symptoms as well. That's kind of the order, the therapeutic order in in classical homeopathy. Um so, homeopathy is low frequency as well. Bioenergetic uh work can really help too. So things like Reiki um also too they have a lot of um like I have a machine that does it which is a thera um I can really break down and assess emotions and neutralize them especially store traumas and things like that.

We also used um Zyo in our practice as well um I still have parts of it but um the EVOX which measured voice frequency and very powerful as a BOF feedback tool as well. So there's a lot of different um uh mechanisms out even outside of just your standard psychology. Um psychology does study and look at what's wrong with the human mind but doesn't necessarily take into consideration the physiology and the function of the brain. And so um and also um the integration of the nervous system um with how that all integrates together. They do they do some of it but yeah it's it's missing right uh and so uh and then we want to rebuild and so with rebuilding with emotional mental readiness we look at community affirmations and like I was talking about those adaptogens all right this framework of stagnation right so stagnation remember think sluggishness not not moving so PMS acne sluggish bowels, right? So, things are not moving. So, we we we we can't really detox because we have to rebuild protein.

That's where we were going to run into the stomach acid. Amino acids as well, which bypasses that. Um, healthy food, and that may even go into the mental and emotional readiness. Um, healthy fats as well, but we have to make sure that we keep that protein to fat ratio in balanced. hydration, hydration, hydration, electrolytes, electrolytes, electrolytes. Um, and then really moving castor oil packs can really help. Um, dry brushing because we still want gentle movement. We don't want lots of of fast movement. Flushing enemas can help. So, we'll get more into the difference between um flushing and retention enemas.

Um, so this would be more of a flushing enema. You wouldn't want to do a retention enema with this. um and detoxification, uh dandelion, your bitters, um your um uh milk thistles, things like that. Um and then rebuilding our liver support nutrients. So, anything with the phase one and phase two, but a lot of amino acids, antioxidants, glutathione, vitamin C, and our probiotics and prebiotics. Um that's obviously if there's a sluggish bowel, perhaps fiber is needed. Um, artichoke also really helpful for the liver. Um, that's in a lot of different um, combinations. Okay, so now flipping into deficiency case. Ah, toxicity. Hold on. Jumping one ahead. All right, cool. Deficiency. So, think energy loss, sluggishness, uh, difficulty waking up, difficulty maybe falling asleep. um cycling through from maybe depressed to more manicky states. Um hair loss uh is an indicator here. Fatigue, brittle nails, um those sorts of things. Just real sluggishness, kind of a gray gray tone. Uh in building, we want to get the food back, we want to get the water back, we want to get the sleep back, all of those things to build the system up because the system's depleted.

And and there's reasons why. And that's really where again that's where we begin with that mental and emotional readiness because there's there's a a lot of reasoning for why people get to where they they get. And I think if we stop assuming and actually start listening, we'll be able to to help more people. Um that's what helped me, you know, especially when I was in my early years. um after I finished my education, you know, my patience didn't fit in these books, you know, like we learn all these things. Um and then we're expected to apply them and in the application understanding that wow people are very unique in how they see things, do things, understand things, process things, organize things, etc. And so, um, it really helped me to, uh, help people to become more streamlined and process driven with their health care.

So, it takes the overwhelm out of it. It takes the guesswork out of it. It's about simplicity. Um, and helping it to be simple. And, you know, I think we've all heard that adage, you know, if you can't explain what you do to, you know, 5-year-old, do you really know it? So putting these things in into um a structure and a system to be able to look at um is important and there's lots of levels to this so don't get too excited.

Um all right so we we talked about building B complexes folate etc. Preparing um gentle herbs so you know ashwagandha holy basil real gentle kind of things. Um I really more on the nourishing side um there. Maybe even some lemongrass, chamomile, that sort of thing. Um let's see. Detoxification only light drainage. So think homeopathy, think um dry brushing, think Epsom salt, baking soda baths, um really gentle um drainage, detoxification, um infrared dry sauna, etc. rebuilding in this case chlorophyll blood builders um helps to get some short-term energy. Mineral drops which are high concentrated trace elements is a really good brand for that. Sleep hygiene um also may be an issue there. There again may be that more manicky or depressive state which could be a symptom of the hormones being off like your cortisol being off or your blood glucose being off. Um, those are typical signs, but again, we want to make sure that we have those foundational health pieces stabilized.

All right, if you have any questions, let me know. All right, so and if you just come in, thank you so much for coming in, thank you so much for liking, sharing the live. I appreciate you so much. So, toxicity. So think um overloaded, overwhelmed, chemical sensitivities um which when a person becomes really sensitive um to anything even natural things uh brain fog um so that's where like the brain is clouded memory loss forgetfulness confusion um histamine issues so skin reactions breakouts um itchiness dryness um those are all um also too again histamine responses also go into the um like manicy state as well. Um I know a lot of times when there's lots of toxic load in the system uh it will trigger histamine responses which is an allergic response um and that will can create some insomnia and and kind of wiredness within the system.

So um consider that too. also if they are have been on um certain medications which we'll get into um next week. Uh so in these cases we're going to build the body. Um so binders you know gentle binders um would be helpful um with this instance. So maybe even some homeopathic uh binders as well like some drainage tone or lymph tone. Uh water. So looking at your pH levels of water, maybe doing a little bit more of your alkalined uh water. Remember, we want our alkaline water fresh. Um so getting a machine that does that.

Um I'm pretty agnostic when it comes to those things. Um uh I've seen some pretty decent models out there for around 4 500 um bucks at this point. Um they used to be thousands and thousands and I've paid all the things. So definitely um look around for that. Um and then preparing the body again think infrared. We'll talk about some bioenergetic preparations.

Um like I used to use a lot of fu detox. We'll look at biomats as well which use uh minerals and infrared built in which can really tonify the nervous system as well. Um there uh we would use that also in a lot of like postradiation detoxifications. Um uh so it's not really better, it's just different, you know. So lemon lemon has lemon will alkaline the water for sure. Um hey CD lovely. It just really depends on what you're trying to do with the system. Um like I can teach a whole thing. In fact I in metabolic pH I will teach all about that. Um using different phes for different things. Um so there's whole protocols to flushing out phes in in the system. So um because those machines um will do like so standard drinking water is about a 7.6 alkalinity is your standard and then you start driving up the alkalinity to like 8 8.5 to 9 9.5 uh to 11.5.

Right? you typically do that for a specific reason. There's specific purposes behind it. Um, and so, you know, as a lifestyle component, like more of a preventative, yeah, of course, you can do the lemon and that may work. Um, but in in the essence of like this is this is a lot. There's there's levels to this thing. So, um, I think for more of a of a general perspective, we would look at that. Um NAC as well um uh is another thing uh and things like uh vitamin C, ALA um those are all really really helpful. Parsley, cilantro, those are all chelators and our detoxification again um are like I was saying uh bug glutathione amino acids um methanine really important methanine. Uh, I never realized um at one point I was very deficient in methanine and oh my gosh when I did when I started putting that back into the system like whoa I was like holy moly what's coming out.

Um so liver herbs as well we've talked about those quite a bit. Um and then lymph mo movers. So those are like your Spanish black radish um elements like um uh echynatia also too um is uh will move lymph as well. Uh rebuilding so blood builders again chlorophyll spirulina um those are really good blood builders. Um and a lowd dose iron I don't do a high amount of iron because it does affect the kidneys and the bowels. Um, antioxidants, vitamin C, CoQ10, super important. Vitamin E, I like to do that more on the topical perspective. Vitamin C as well. Um, glutathione. There's a really good book, um, Red Cover, Master Antioxidants, and it goes over the five major antioxidants. I think at one point we had to read it in in school, um, and write all about it. Um, sleep as well. Remember, proper sleep is falling asleep, staying asleep, and waking up refreshed.

And so each one of those stages um is an aspect um of your neural hormonal system. Um and we talked a little bit about um the Chinese time clock and how that um plays into things. All right, cool. Let me go back here. Presente. All right, here we go. Now, uh, let's start building out a little bit of protocol here. Thank you guys so much for tapping, sharing, liking, all of the things.

All right, so liver and and again, we've heard this many times, but just want to make sure you understand liver is your first organ to detox. Wherever you find, and we find this, we understand this using our subjective data. So we have our um subjective which is our questionnaires, our detox questionnaires and our um nutrient assessment questionnaire. So with our detoxification questionnaire, you may come out with several different organs.

You know, you may come out with your skin, you may come out with your GI, you may come out with your liver, you may come out with several. However, when we're following therapeutic order, remember we're healing the digestive system from the top down. We're going to start with the liver, then go to the large intestines, kidney, blood and lymph, and then lungs.

Okay, so that is the our therapeutic order. Um, so even though even though you may go, I want to detoxify my kidneys, please, please, please. Because what I found in practice was is that um things would get clogged. And so I would go and you know let's say somebody would present with like a mold issue right so everybody wants to clean mold out of their body and so I'm cleaning it out cleaning it out cleaning it out and it was kept testing you know coming out coming and I'm like ah what is going on and then I'm like ah it's in the liver right and so then I had to clean the liver and it was really in the liver and so that's when I stopped doing it out of order and I started actually following it uh using biochemistry and using how the body actually functions.

Um and if we again tap into how the body actually functions and how it heals itself, the body intuitively already knows what to do with it. We just give it gentle nudges and gentle supports and boom, it'll take it from there. The body is an amazing self-healing organism and can and will heal itself from any and everything if we so choose. And that's beyond me. All right. So, starting at the top, liver detoxification. Remember, we've already balanced our our hydration. We've already balanced our sleep. We've already balanced our food. 80% macro um compliance, protein, and fat ratios have to be balanced. Um and that is required for this to work. Um if you um if you don't do it in that way it will not work. Disclaimer disclaimer disclaimer. Um if you have a question if you can drop it in the chat.

I apologize. I'm trying to move through this. Um so these these things have to be in order. I have learned this from treating thousands and thousands and thousands of patients and taking their data on them. Um again Dr. steel, seven degrees in my field, uh, all in the natural healthc care space. I like to say I went to school so you don't have to, uh, and very well trained and experienced in in this particular um, practice. So, here we go. All right. So, we want to make sure that those foundational health pieces are intact, and we went over them.

So adrenals have to be intact, hydration, water, sleep, food, all of it. Then we want to make sure our stomach acid is balanced because why? If we're not breaking down proteins, we're not able to get to amino acids. When we start to detoxify the liver, if there's things like mold in it, whatever, the patient is going to have um heartburn, different um symptoms.

So it's not going to work as well. So we want to make sure that that is cleared. We'll get more into contra indications next week and different variations to patterns you understand. But we're building up the body protein, amino acids, antioxidants, B complexes, methanine, magnesium. We're preparing the system again those digestive bitters, our herbs. Um so lots of the bitters have been taken out of our diet. So really think a lot about your um liver herbs.

So you can get like those little um that you know obviously you can make your own but in the store in a pinch you can get those little liver um detox tees. They have the dandelion and several different um components in there. Um castor oil packs. Um our liver is the right side underneath our rib cage. Um but I would encourage you to do the entire um surface. Towel down. Heating pad. Breath work 45 minutes. Release. Release. release detoxification again NAC glutathione milk thistle rebuilding choline really important for the li the liver to be able to um create that cell membrane and to help with those healthy fats which again those healthy fats are really the processing stations of our toxins.

Um beets which also are a detoxifier as well. So, we really um no more than 1 ounce of beads. If you're trying to rebuild, if you're trying to detox, no more than 2 to 4 ounces. Very, very powerful. And then your methylated B complexes to make sure your folate, magnesium, all of that is helpful for um the uh liver B12, but you don't want isolated bees. We do um the bees all together. Um, hey, how are you? Let me see. All right, colon. Um, so with our colon, we want to build fiber. So, insoluble, soluble, magnesium, hydration, prepare. Uh, gentle enemas. Remember, we're going to talk more about um flushing enemas.

Um, so flushing enema would be like apple cider vinegar enema or um a lemon uh water or um you could do minerals as well. Um those are going to be more of your flushing enemas. You can do herbal um flushes as well. We'll get more into that, but um because there's all kinds of different components that we have to cover with that. Um you know, every every topic is kind of um a bigger if you have a question, if you can drop it in the chat for me.

Um every every question like you know, how about water or how about this is a very expansive answer. It's not just this onesizefititall approach. Um, again, we're not reductionist, so we're not going to break everything down into tiny pieces. We allow our brains to expand into complex thinking. It's okay. Uh, you'll be okay. Um, all right. So, prune tea as well. You can soak that down. Um, really helps with movement, especially with little kiddos, but make sure you're drinking lots of water, little kiddos as well. Um, so prune teas can be really helpful to get them to move, especially if they're a little resistant on fruits and vegetables. I tend to also put things in their smoothies um as well. That can um be helpful to keep things moving. um detoxification, bourberine uh as well, binders, chromium, um your activated charcoals, which are your binders, your bentonite, which is your binders, um zeolyte, which is also a mild um binder as well. And there's also different types of binders like wormwood um and um my brain is escaping me right now.

Um it's in that that category with the worm wormwood. I know there's licorice root but that's more um like a mucilage for the lining. Bero I think is the other one. Um there's several of them. And then we want to build that lining that mucosal support. So glutamine, glycine, prebiotic, probiotic, all of those things really help rebuild that lining. Zinc also helps rebuild the lining um of the GI tract. your B complexes is chocked filled with that as well. Um, aloe vera can really help soothe uh that inflamed because uh and we'll talk more about this next week about leaky gut and um how you know when there's toxicity that's cycling through that liver dumping into the digestive system uh that lining of the GI tract begins to separate out and toxins begin to leak through into the bloodstream.

Um, and so as a response to that, we as we're cleaning all of those things up, we want to establish that gut integrity back. And so things like glutamine, fibers, um, prebiotics, probiotics, glycine, all of those, zinc, those all help with that u mucosal support. So um, hey pretty bird. Hey Tara. Um, so hey Edward, good to see y'all. Okay, so bonus eliminatory organs. So disclaimer disclaimer disclaimer you have to start with those first. Please do not please do not go ahead. Um because if you do right if you do go ahead and you don't follow the order um you are ultimately responsible for what happens um Dr. Steel Dr. Steel can you fix this? Um is available for now however will not always be. So um you know I've I've had a long long long long ustrious run in in clinical practice and again the purpose of this is building my legacy educating people uh and leaving it to uh the masses the next generation of holistic health healers. uh because uh naturally if these uh methods and these practices are not upheld or not passed down they will unfortunately be swept away in colonization and so it's always been my goal and my premise and the reason why I became a holistic doctor was to protect um Afroindigenous cultural practices and protect natural and a holistic way of living in a lifestyle and so we are losing it day by And so we have to retain retain uh you know and really really come back to our roots in healthcare come back to our pre-olonized days before we were swept up in a colonized health care system.

Uh we would go to the medicine people, the teachers, the healers, etc. in the community and learn about our bodies and we intuitively knew about our bodies and then could help our bodies heal. So, we're coming back to that. All right. So, please do not be reactive with these protocols. Okay. Kidney detox. So, again, uh if you're having issues with your kidneys, you're having issues with your liver and your colon.

So, go back and complete those first. Uh and remember, spring, fall, spring. So, you're forward thinking. This isn't a panic situation. Um all right. We want to build the kidneys with hydration. And so we should already really be at this point half our body weight in ounces in water, our electrolytes, um healthy amounts of sodium, so sodium that has minerals in it. Um we also want um potassium, magnesium, um all of those electrolytes to really really help our system. And then we prepare so nettle tea, parsley, which is like I said a really good chelator. Uh gentle body movement, corn silk as well. There are a lot of detox kidney teas that I really like. Um, but remember, we want to be preparing and nourishing the system uh while we're getting ready.

Um, we're trekking our um urinary uh chart. We make sure that um we're nice and uh I think it's like with one and two uh nice and light. So, we're drinking lots and lots of water. Like I was saying, when I would kidney detox, um, I would do a lot of juicing and a lot of fasting, um, and building my body up. Now, water fasting is a whole another ball game. So, let's not get too excited. Um, but juicing, things like, um, your carrot juice, the alpha beta carotene, high antioxidants, um, lemon, um, a little bit of ginger, but don't go crazy with that. Um, but also think about um your watermelon, your um cucumbers as well. Leave the skin on. Um, think about those things because they're very hydrating within the system. And also when we're detoxifying specifically, we're also thinking about celery juice as well. Celery juice also helps to rebuild a little bit of the hydrochloric acid within the system, too.

So, you get kind of a two for one there. Um, golden rod and juniper berry. Um, grape. No. So, grapes are very So, we call grapes little pesticide bombs. Um, and the reason we call them that, sorry. Hey, Tic Tac. Is the reason we call them that is that the skin is really thin. So, they often will retain um herbicides and pesticides.

Um, and so that's why we don't really I mean naturally if they're wherever wherever but also too grapes can be um uh like um what do you call them and I'm not a horiculturist. Um but they they can be um God what the word is right there. Um they do a lot of things with the grapes. Um I'll say that um just because that growing the grapes and things like that. Yeah. Gra grapes are really um it's it's the herbicides and pesticides. So, make sure you clean them really well.

There are some zero point frequency plates that can help too. Um make sure though, you know, that you try to get organic with the grapes. I wouldn't juice grapes. Um quite honestly, uh so yeah, so think like I said more of your carrots and things like that. Uh rebuilding on the kidneys. Um silica is in horsetail. Um ashwagandha as well as really toning trace minerals um as well as your adaptogens. Um which ashwagandha is an adaptogen as well. Holy basil is an adaptogen. Altheanine is an adaptogen. Um and so lot of balancing with um the kidneys. I like to do a lot of work with the electrolytes. Um, and pretty much I like to turn people at least with their kidney detox almost into um like uh hydroponic. My brain was thinking hydroponic, you know, really we're just a whole bunch of house plants. So, the more that we flush and filter and flush and filter, the better off we're all going to be. Um, and making sure that the quality of the your water is really healthy. All right. So, our blood and our lymph. Oh, there we go.

Our blood and our lymph. So, um again, this is the last uh primary eliminatory organ that we um work through. Liver, um large intestines, kidneys, and then our blood and our li actually it's not the last, it's the second to last. Um we want to build uh so iron rich foods, beets but in very low doses 1 ounces, molasses because it has a lot of nutrients in there, electrolytes, breath work, um movement especially things like breath of fire.

Also things like um um what is it? Um alternate nostril breathing. We did that last weekend. Um preparing the body. So dry brushing, rebounding, lymphatic drainage, which is that nickel point pressure. Um and so doing things to really move the system. Uh and then we want to detoxify using things like red clover cleavers. Chenula also helps if the skin uh is breaking out. Now if the skin is expressing because of blood and lymph issues a this is why we also do it in order because what you've done is you kind of slowed down all of that and you've eliminated a lot more. So it should be uh greatly reduced. When I used to work, I mean, I still do, but um in my family practice, we'd have babies, kiddos, all different age groups come in, all different skin reactions. I think the youngest um I saw that had severe severe severe eczema. The mom ate all um processed foods unfortunately um through pregnancy. And so the baby came out with severe skin reactions, four months old. I mean, just, you know, skin peeling and all kinds of stuff.

And so, um, a lot of skin reactions like, um, eczema, psoriasis, any of those that are kind of categorized in that capacity, um, even, uh, texture changes to your skin, um, is your body detoxifying. And so, looking at your blood and lymph. So, it's almost like a sewer system. Um, and so that's why we do it in order because we take the pressure off the liver, the large intestines, the kidneys. And so by the time we get to the blood and the lymph, we're really just again opening the channels and flushing things out. Um, and that's last usually the last remnants that needs to come out. Um, and so vitamin C, uh, rud rudiola, uh, as well can be helpful. um any of your adaptogens um but also think your blood builders. So chlorophyll, spirulina um even CBD has uh an anti-inflammatory aspect um to it as well.

All right. Now this is this is the last organ eliminatory organ. Let me see. All right. So our lungs um and so this would be again the last last um so think hydration, breath work. We all have a metabolic assessment that I go over in in the metabolic pH class. Um so we actually have um a way to assess that CO2 level through respiration and breath hold time.

Also, um, omega-3 essential fatty acids can be helpful, too, to rebuild that mucosal barrier within the lungs. Um, in preparation, steam inhalation. So, um, think like a pot of water with some essential oils and a towel, breathing that in, eucalyptus, um, even some thieves oil as well, lemongrass, all of that time. Uh, humidifiers and dehumidifiers. Now, if there's mold in trapped in your lungs, you don't want to use a humidifier.

If you're in a moist environment, you don't want to use a humidifier. Why? Because you're going to grow mold and then you're going to be breathing in those pores and then you're going to be making your lungs toxic. So, dehumidifiers, yes. Humidifiers, no. So, make sure that you know the difference between humidifiers and dehumidifiers um to make sure that you use those properly. If you're not sure, ask somebody in like the HVAC world. They can um explain it deeper. Um for detoxification, we look at uh muan tea. Um uh there's also lung formula teas as well that have all kinds of different compounds in them. Um and so yarao um tends to be one um that I like to use a lot um for the lungs but also too I've used nebulizers as well uh with things like colloidal silver in it. Uh just a couple drops also too. Couple drops of glutathione. Um a liquid. I like quicks scientific version. Also um a um uh little bit of vitamin D, couple drops of vitamin D as well. Um any of your herbal teas, I've been able to put that in the nebulizer either, you know, kind of steeping them and then breathing that in and that will break that up.

Bropylololis also too. um because of the um immune um properties within the bupropololis um that can really help um as well to move that out. The lungs and the liver have a very symbiotic relationship to one another. So if there's mold in the body, it's trapped in the liver and in the lungs. So think about that. And it recirculates itself. Um and so you want to make sure that that liver is taken care of. Um and then rebuilding cortiseps. But again, if you've been exposed to mold, don't use cortiseps.

Mushrooms are no good for you, my friend. But if you are just doing like a a heavy metal detox. Now, if you have heavy metals, you may have mold. So, or yeast in the system. So, you have to test for that. That's a organic acid test. Uh a little uh urine test first thing in the morning. Uh again, vitamin uh arch foods, your carrots. Um you can also do glandulars for your um lungs as well. And then deep rest, lots of rest for the lungs. Uh even SAVs can be really helpful as well. Like those old school savves, but not your VIX. Please don't use that. It's a petroleum based product. Very toxic. You can make your own using some coconut oil or any other base oil that you want to use. um with that with a little bit of eucalyptus, a little bit of lemongrass, a little bit of um uh thieves or uh any sort of kind of antib bacterial that you're wanting to use like a tea tree or something like that or even a lavender and you can mix that up and make a sav that then you breathe in etc.

They also you can make inhalance. There's all pretty much most things you can create your own. you don't necessarily need to be as dependent upon the storebought versions. The storebought versions tend to be a lot more toxic because they're marketable. They have to be shelf stable and all of that where you can pull together at home um with some pretty basic products. When I used to travel um a lot, I would primarily bring peppermint and lavender. And I cannot tell you how much I use that for so many different things from bug bites to, you know, stomach upsets to all kinds of things.

Um, so really helpful there. All right, so your assignment. Hey, wireless. I saw you sneak in. Um, let's see your assignment. I should put my glasses on, but I don't. So, that makes it that makes it the challenging part to see what's going on. That's it. All right. Here we go. So, you're going to select a real or mock case. You're going to write out your subjective and objective summary. Remember, we've already we've been beating the drum on that. So, uh we'll put it more in a visual format next week. uh and map out the symptom burdens. Again, using your nutritional assessment, using your detoxification assessment, you have um that information. You have tons of resources in fact to be able to assist with that. If you have any questions, you know where to find me. And then uh we'll build out a template. So, build, prepare, detox, rebuild. I will put that in um the portal for you. Yes, still behind in that.

It's mostly because I'm building out this library right now. So that's been taking more of my um it's been my my flow has been there. So um I uh made a decision this afternoon I will ensure that I close out you guys' course stuff. So uh working on that but you'll have a template that will be along with this class that's build prepare detox and rebuild. So what's next? What's next after this? Week 10, which is next week, we're coming along. We're coming around the bend. Uh, and we'll talk about more how to refine and customize your protocol. Um, so if you're following along live in the class, it would be good to um have that done.

Um, or even if you're not watching it live, you're watching the replay, uh, you may want to have at least your case presentation done before you move on to the next class. So advanced tools, we'll talk about timing, layering, contraindications, medications, emotional breakdowns, the world of it, all of it, every last bit of it. Uh, and if you are new to this class, you just stumbled upon it in some sort of algorithmy sort of way, welcome in. Welcome in. My name is Dr. Erica Castile and this is intro to holistic medicine 2 detoxification and elimination. And if you're not familiar, um I build all kinds of things and write all kinds of things and teach all kinds of things and all all the things.

And so anything to do with holistic medicine uh I have a course built out intro to holistic medicine one which is a foundational course teaches you all about the principles of holistic medicine but also understanding your uh nutrient deficiencies, patient types and behavioral change which is the very base root um of uh our practice. And then we start to look at healing in a different way from a more quote unquote evidence-based approach.

Um that subjective and objective assessment. Uh and that goes into it's 12 weeks and it then rolls into holistic medicine 2 which is what we're in now. Week nine we just concluded and and that's where we dive into the nutrient elimination. So remember you know detox excuse me uh health is built right nutrients right? So the body has enough nutrients then the body is able to detoxify. Um organ health remains and then disease is prevented. What happens is is people become nutrient deficiencies. Then they start to accumulate toxins, organ function goes down and then disease happens. So we are trying to catch people well before disease happens. We're trying to teach people from a public health perspective. When I did my MBA studying the health care system and the various flaws of the health care system, um I learned that public health education was the biggest deficit within our communities and uh I obviously learned a lot of that in my MH.

Uh however, it really brought it home to me how systemically uh it was affected and impacted uh so many different communities, but definitely black and brown communities all over um the world. And so teaching people how to apply the scientific method along with um what we know and what our roots are, our food, our herbs, our natural things, our nonprocessed things, our non-marketed things, our non you know, exploited things, you know, so if we can still find any of those left. So, I'll teach you clinical tools that I've learned um over my 20 plus years of education. Uh again, you know, going in day after day after day, learning and learning and learning and now at the point of unpacking and reflecting and being able to share and teach is really an honor.

So uh you'll learn clinical tools like evaluating pH, bowel function and stagnation like we've been talking about in design protocols using therapeutic order and again a terrainbased analysis because we're not conventional doctors. We're not alipathic doctors. We don't want to be I never wanted to be um a medical doctor and just diagnose and manage diseases. Um I felt like that was a little boring. I actually wanted to help people heal. All right. Also too, if you would like to connect with my uh community, I've built several communities um on my own HIPPA, you know, um certified blah blah blah blah blah. It's got all the all the tech whistles on it uh that we built out um you know ourselves myself and uh making sure that people have access to free resources, lessons, templates um that are actionable.

So even going into um the communities, you'll have access to a healthy eating guide to get you started, a holistic makeover workbook. So, I love, you know, taking complex topics and making them organized and neat and pretty. I've got so many different things I'm building out with our library. Um, and so you'll also receive uh access to new class releases right now. I I've been more so focused on all the building parts. So, you haven't been getting emails lately. That's me, not you. Uh, and so also program updates. So, I've been kind of getting things organized uh for more of the fall start time.

So you can also connect with other learners and other professionals as well. Um I've enjoyed getting to know you all in there. Uh we do have uh three different communities. The holistic health coaching cohort for those people interested in moving on to holistic health coaching. Uh this is a prerequisite course for that. Holistic lifestyle community is for people just wanting to heal themselves, their family, their community, wanting good resources that are evidence-based that they can trust, etc. Um, that would be that community. And then pure black, which is an afroindigenous healing network. Um this is definitely more for a lot more genetic information uh that I come out with and then also to um a lot more information about nervous system healing and uh intergenerational healing and ancestral uh trauma. Uh great ways to get support, mentorship and real life feedback. I'm fairly available um if you uh reach out to me. Um, so I do take sometimes 24 or 40 hours to respond. I know that's a lot of time, but please be patient with me. Um, I also have our holistic life app um, which you can gain access to if you're a part of the community.

It has an extensive education library already on it, but I am working to build that out even more, which is what my focus has been, which I've been so excited about. It's been fun. Um, but you can also, it's a remote uh, patient monitoring tool. You can track over 350 data points. Also, there's a messenger in there. You can ask me a question. So, let's say for instance, you want to track your blood pressure.

You hook your monitor up. You sync it with the app. You check your blood pressure for two weeks and you're like, "Hey, this my diastolic is elevated. Can you look at this for me, please?" You can send me a message and I can respond to you. So um anything from your protocols to symptoms, hydration, food, your mood, uh even your labs, we evaluate. You can also upload any photos. So if you you know, oh, what do you think about this, what do you think about that, etc.

You can receive practitioner feedback to me and also build your own health record. So one of the things that I do is people come to me at all different stages of health and healthcare, right? and they throw it all on my desk and my job is to organize it for them and put it in a palatable, organized, beautiful PDF format. And so, um, so that you can really put your health on the driver's seat. So often, I saw this time and time again that there were so many healthc care inefficiencies. I experienced it as a provider working with other providers. you know, I chose to be self-employed from the beginning. So I but I would fill in I would go do fill-in work or you know I'd have one of my private patients in the hospital so I'd have to go into the hospital or they'd be in the nursing home so I'd have to go there and you know just working with care teams you know and seeing so many of the inefficiencies that still exists within healthcare which you know upwards 40% of health care spending is spent on administrative is spent on all of these inefficiencies which bog down the system etc.

So when we had um the vid and pretty much we could not depend on any of the systems because there was just there was crazy at the helm which there's crazy back at the helm and so what happens is is our public health system now um we thought COVID was bad um now it's being gutted and so not having proper public health systems and not having public health alerts and all of these things um is a real deficit. So, this really brings it back to you. It it it brings I mean we can I can set up a whole triage in somebody's home um if they really want to monitor, etc. So, and it's not about scaring people with data. It's about you seeing your data, knowing what your data means, and then being being able to make empowered decisions.

And so what I also saw too is patients would come in and they'd say, "Oh, my my doctor says my labs look normal, but then I feel like crap." Or, "Why does my lab say all these numbers that are red, but my doctor said it's fine?" You know, and the level of detail when I'm looking at labs and evaluating. So, I create deeply personalized care plans for people so you can really understand um your health.

So, one of the things I'm really excited about that I'm building out right now, um, is our education library. And this is more for people that just want a quick little whatever their ebooks on like how to what you need to know about your cholesterol, what you need to know about your blood pressure, what you need to know about your blood sugar, you know, little workbooks that people can um, you know, there's all different types of learners. And um I found that there are some more techsavvy learners and then there's some non- techsavvy learners. So I try to help everybody and kind of put things in.

So again, this is my legacy. So I'm building all of this out. So um we have self-paced courses. So three I well I have lots of courses, not just three, but um three that we have on the community side and then um multiple on the app side. Meal plans, all kinds of different things, time management tools. I was in family practice for 15 years. And so what would happen is is patients would come in almost like they were like, you know, being deprived of water from the desert, right? And so when they came in, it was like once they finally found somebody in healthc care that would listen to them and was educated, it was like more, more, more, more, more. So I started to create, thank you so much. So, I started to create all of these resources and all of these tools because I could not, you know, people are like, I want to take you home and put you in my pocket.

Thank you for the heart me. And I was like, yay, great. Yeah. No, you know, so I I began to kind of create these extensions of me and this is long long time ago, things of like, you know, what water do I drink? You know, there's a big thing on water or, you know, how do I detox this? or you know my time management or how do I make a difficult decision or um prenatal or perinatal or I'm trying to get pregnant and I can't or you know my my blood pressurees up or you know any number of things right you're so welcome yeah any number of things um and eventually this builds into our certification tracks etc like I was um telling you about so in September um we'll be launching the holistic health coaching cert certification.

Uh again, intro to holistic medicine 1 and two are prerequisites for that class um for that launch. Um and that's more in-depth. So I want to make sure that if you move forward with that that you really understand um all of the components of um you know your health, your nutrients and your toxicity and we kind of start from there um and then you build up. So I tried to make something for everyone you know so that it was accessible. Not everyone wants to not everyone wants to help other people right some people just want to you know get themselves and not everyone is at this state in their health you know it was really important to me physician heal thyself.

So the things that I teach you are things that I've practiced things that I've done things that I've you know facilitated through. They're not things that I'm just guessing, right? I've done all that work and that's why I really took my time before, you know, I closed my practice and decided to, you know, be a wanderer lust and and teach, you know, from St. Lucia. So, um, but, you know, this really is a passion project of mine.

If you followed me from January, that was kind of the launch of of really building out the school and you know starting to teach people so that they understand because I could see what was happening with our healthcare system. It's been very very hush hush at least in the media. You have to really dig and follow for it. But we we definitely need to keep our health in our hands and make sure you know that we are taking care of ourselves as well as each other. So awesome. Well, that concludes our class for today. Um this replay will be up on YouTube. So if you follow me on YouTube, um that will be up there. I'll probably leave the videos up there a little bit longer and then but I'm going to be I've made a promise to myself.

I'm moving them all in there. Um, and make sure that they're all organized and you guys have your your pretty little, um, workbooks and things. So, um, thank you guys so much for attending, liking, and sharing live. You guys have been so supportive and your gifts. Thank you so much. Uh, this really is a labor of love indeed.

Um, and I always have to pace myself because it's it's been a marathon, not a sprint indeed, to get to this point um, of understanding of depth to be able to break it down for you in very easy, manageable parts so that you can take it in and apply it because it, you know, what is knowledge if you can't apply it and so I like to um, get that and make sure that everybody understands from all that different pers Exactly. Exactly. Exactly. Awesome. So, have a good good rest of your Saturday. Enjoy. Hope you guys get some rest. Bye for now..
