Ancestral Trauma & Health Impact
April 18 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

As a holistic doctor, I have seen firsthand the impact that ancestral trauma can have on a person’s physical health. Ancestral trauma refers to the emotional and psychological wounds that are passed down through generations, often as a result of systemic oppression, discrimination, or other forms of violence or injustice.
In this class, we will explore the ways in which ancestral trauma can manifest in the body, leading to chronic pain, illness, and other health issues. We will also discuss the role of epigenetics, which is the study of how genes can be turned on or off by environmental factors such as stress, trauma, and other life experiences.
Through a combination of lecture, discussion, and interactive exercises, you will learn how to identify patterns of ancestral trauma in your own life and how to begin the process of healing and breaking the cycle of intergenerational trauma. We will also explore various holistic healing modalities that can support this process, including meditation, mindfulness practices, and energy work.
By the end of this class, you will have a deeper understanding of the ways in which ancestral trauma can impact physical health, as well as practical tools and techniques for addressing and healing these wounds. You will also leave with a greater sense of empowerment and resilience as you continue on your own healing journey.
